Product Overview

WEHOLITE is a large diameter gravity or low pressure structural wall pipe made from special
high density polyethylene (HDPE) resin. With WEHOLITE, raw material properties have been
combined with advanced product technology to create a lightweight engineered pipe with
superior loading capacity. It is used to convey liquids or air, under ground, above ground or
under water in low pressure applications up to 1.5 bar internal pressure.
WEHOLITE pipes are manufactured in accordance with standards WIS 4-35-01, SFS 3453
and prEN 13476.

Speed and economy of installation together with product quality and durability, has been recognised in both the public and private sector who have chosen WEHOLITE HDPE as the preferred solution.

Applications include:

• Storm water attenuation tanks

• Culverts

• CSO attenuation tanks

• Surface drainage

• Inter-process pipework

• Foul sewers

ASSET WEHOLITE provides all the technical advantages of polyethylene solid wall pipes, but substantial savings in weight and ease of installation offers lower overall installed costs than traditional materials.

ASSET WEHOLITE is a quality assured product to BS EN ISO 9000 : 2008, Certificate No. FM 12306. Raw materials are supplied against precise specifications for WEHOLITE determined by KWH Pipe Limited. Every delivery of the high quality HDPE is supplied with material test certificate stating MFI and Density.

In-process quality control:

• Measurement of profile weight

• Weld tensile tests

• Ring stiffness to ISO 9969

Electronic equipment built into the manufacturing line continuously monitors and adjusts extrusion parameters every two hours. Finished pipe is also subject to regular in house and external testing to ensure compliance with specification. All the data is recorded on QC documentation for traceability. Destructive tests and / or pressure tests can be carried out if required.
